Matrix specimens of this material are not common, let alone fine quality, gemmy, aesthetic groups on matrix. I didnt label this piece as being one of the Blood Vessel Opals as its mostly colorless and doesnt really have much for inclusions like the majority of the pieces in this

but rather a spot where another crystal once grew)

The vast majority of the Zinkenite specimens from this find were certainly not this attractive and so richly grouped together

but the central portion of crystals are undamaged and very fun to view up close

A good bargain for the size and overall aesthetics of the piece

The visceral presence of superior crystallized form of the piece makes it a terrific crystallized example of the species

and I'm told that the locality was purchased by a Korean mining company
