CalciteA beautiful crystallized mound of nearly colorless, gemmy, modified rhombohedra of Calcite from the world famous Sherman Mine in Leadville. This locality is arguably the most productive specimen producer in Leadville, despite the fact that over 10 million ounces of Silver came out in a period lasting around 11 years (started 1968 1970 and reopened 1975 1982).
