CHARLES PACHTER "UNTITLED PORTRAIT" CIRCA 1985
Description
CHARLES PACHTER "UNTITLED PORTRAIT" CIRCA 1985The power of a beautiful portrait can transcend any era, and captivate a viewer in another place or generation. In the early 1980's Charles Pachter did numerous portrait drawings of cultural luminaries in Toronto, such as filmmaker David Cronenberg and architect Carlos Ott. Occasionally Pachter would draw or paint the children or lovers of his friends. This mysterious, unidentified portrait is a perfect example of both the genre and Pachter's mastery
"Neuschwanstein" is also one of the only landscapes in Warhol's oeuvre
