2021, Roc de Cambes, CÔTES DE BOURGBordeaux Blend: Merlot, Cabernet Franc. Often close in quality to the same owner's top Saint Emilion, Le Tertre Roteboeuf. This Ctes de Bourg is head and shoulders the best wine of the appellation and very much a wine for those "in the know". The 2021 Roc de Cambes has another quite Burgundy like bouquet, a mlange of red and black fruit, very well defined, perfumed and pure. The caressing palate has good weight, a uncommon sense of rondeur for a 2021,

The 2022 Château de Pez has a very pure nose with something of a Burgundian allure: a mélange of blue and black fruit

ripe tannins building steadily in the mouth leading to a big

for around 18 months

Mondotte is quite savoury and brooding

hence a touch rubbery

A gorgeous sculpted feel

The medium-bodied palate is elegantly styled with impressive freshness and ripe

Quite a rounded

and has recently been racked but will be going back to barrel
