2021 Marso Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Abruzzo, ItalyABOUT THIS WINE This is the pride of the Bove family estate in Avezzano, established in 1930. One of the oldest family run wineries in Abruzzo, the best parcels are carefully hand selected for this top cuvee from the estate. Aging is conducted in both, cement (1 3) and French Allier barrels (2 3) for 12 14 months before bottling. The wine rests in bottle until completely mature before release. The area is Phylloxera free and so the vines are pie franco (own-rooted) and extremely old
