Hoya carnosa 'Chelsea'
Description
Hoya carnosa 'Chelsea'This cultivar of carnosa is native to parts of Asia and Australia. The leaves on the "Chelsea" are more compact and are extra waxy in appearance to that of standard carnosa. It can be a bit slower growing than carnosa, but it is worth the wait! Care These will not want to be in scorching direct sun, but a nice bright filtered light or even dappled sun will cause them to blush with darker colors! We would recommend watering when the soil dries
you can use a semi-coarse soil medium
We usually will put them outside late April to September here in Oregon
This is one of our absolute favorite hanging plants
they are small 2" inch plants and they are often cultivated as miniature terrarium species
This way they are able to collect nectar from the specially shaped elongated floral spurs while simultaneously pollinating the flower
They do not do well in a lower light space
Anthurium bakeri is not only favorable for their long narrow leaves
It is a terrestrial grower
though this may roughly be every 2-3 weeks as the foliage starts to feel soft
We recommend watering when the first 1-2 inches of soil is dry
This is a tropical palm native to parts of Asia with beautiful almost fan like foliage
these can tolerate a low light space more than most other tropical foliage
