We also added a Rattan handle wrapping and lacquered it with several layers of Urushi

The wonderful Cherry Wood Handle was treated with several layers of raw and black Urushi and sprinkles of golden brass were added which makes it looks like the Milky Way ・Amanogawa in Japanese

The Kanji / Katakana on the Kamisori read as: レザー打 - reza uchi - hand-forged razor玉鋼 - Tamahagane (the special steel is was made from)登録商標 - touroku shohyo - registered trademark (not readable but common is the organisation in a 2x2 block of Kanjis)◇ - The sign of Satomura which is also hard to recognise
