Novelty Tape Measure - Charming Antique Iron Sewing Measure Pin CushionThis is a beautiful tape measure and pin cushion likely from the first half of the 20th century. It is housed in a metal case which is nicely shaped like an old fashioned iron complete with wooden handle and even a cute little red fabric pin cushion with needles in between the metal housing. To the base is a small paper end which pulls out a 32 inch tape. The tape is in fair condition with small side splits in places and one fairly significant one

They are likely to be Victorian and have a lovely range of beads with facets and different shapes as shown

To the rear is the sun motif for West's and a good spring loaded removable stud piece

This is a beautiful piece of Victorian costume

who aside from Churchill was the person to lie in state aside from the Royal Family

The mosaic is quite naive and in good condition

possibly silver plated

They come in an original case made of black papier mache with beautiful inlay to the top with a central flourish as shown

It measures 1 inch across and is a very pretty little piece

This is a beautiful antique pin tray of considerable age

The carnelian stone is set well in a good cage setting and is a size Q

It opens to reveal the four stages of the preparation - Acquisition

turquoise/turquoise glass and possibly a garnet to the centre
