I first got into using resin with my woodwork, combining wood and resin to make clocks and tables and experimenting with different powered pigments and colours. I then realised that I could paint with them and started making some boards up. It was a steep learning curve as I made many many mistakes before

It is finished with 3 coats of Danish oil and 2 coats of wax

The natural split cause by drying has been filled with sapphire blue pearlescent resin

which I have sprayed with clear  lacquer
