UUSI UUSI UUSIJrvinen of Lahti, Finland, was the premier manufacturer of cross country skis in the country from the 1930s to the 1980s. This is a beautiful example of their poles from the 1960s. The baskets are interesting plastic rings; this was during the transition from bamboo and leather ring baskets to all plastic baskets. And yes, they are NEW (old stock) freshly installed on the poles and ready for action. Handles and straps are in really nice shape. Size:

The decals on the shafts are in near perfect shape

so maybe that's the way they rolled
